Clubs

Today: BSU meets Tuesday during lunch in K8; NASU meets at lunch in h32; Seeking Jesus Club meets at lunch in G10

Tomorrow: NEW: Art Club meets at lunch in B1; Jewish Cultural Union meets in J11 during lunch; Climate Action Club meets at lunch in STEM 100; Theatre Tech meets at 3:45 in the auditorium

Thursday: Thespian Club meets at lunch in H8; The Divergence and Disability Alliance meets at lunch in F37; APISU meets at lunch in F55.

Friday: FSU meets in the auditorium at lunch; WISE meets at lunch in the STEM conference room.

College and Career Extravaganza

Students, you are invited to the College and Career Extravaganza on Wednesday, November 15th, 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm. Join us for some good food and to learn about financial aid, scholarships, preparing for college, essay writing, resume building, teen finance, apprenticeships, and a lot more. Enter to win cool prizes including a chance to win a $1000 scholarship to the college of your choice. All grades are welcome. 

Club Fair 

Club Fair is happening tomorrow, during Advisory. Come check out the different clubs and student groups offered to all Churchill students!

Girls’ Basketball

Registration for girls’ basketball is open. Preseason practice is at 6:30. Tryouts begin next Monday – be dressed and ready to meet at 5:30 in the girls’ locker room, practice will follow from 6-8.

OSAC Scholarship

Attention seniors. The OSAC scholarship is now open. You can apply for multiple scholarships on one application. You don’t have to be going to a college in Oregon to apply. For more information go to oregonstudentaid.gov or see the TV screens in the College & Career Center and student lounge area. 

The Tempest

There is ONLY one more weekend of showings for CHS Thespians’ fall play, William Shakespeare’s “The Tempest”. The last three performances are November 9, 10, and 11. Set on a space station somewhere in the future, come and be thrilled by this classic tale of magic, love, revenge, and the willingness to forgive. Tickets are $10 for adults and only $7 for students. Curtains are at 7:00 pm. You can purchase your tickets from any CHS Thespian, using the QR Code found on our posters, or even just at the doors. 

Extended Day Program

Juniors and Seniors: Do you feel you’re behind schedule in the number of credits needed for graduation? If so, consider joining the Extended Day Program where you can earn .75 credits per class, per quarter, that’s an additional .25 credits per class! Classes offered include Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, and Science. Dinner and transportation home from your neighborhood school are both included.
