Native American Heritage Month
Today, at lunch near the planters, please come check out information on the nine federally recognized tribes of Oregon! Identify some key facts about Native communities in Oregon and get a prize! And tomorrow, join NASU and FSU members in a collaborative lunchtime gathering in h32 to recognize shared causes.

The Portland State University Application Workshop is today after school in room F36. The representative who will read your application will be here to help you fill out the application and answer your questions.
Papa’s Pizza Fundraiser
Papa’s Pizza Fundraiser is happening tonight! Grab your family and friends and head to Papa’s for their delicious pizza. Proceeds from your order will go to families in need here at Churchill! Don’t forget to take your flyer! There are extras in the front office for those who need them.
CHS Holiday Cheer Drive
Churchill Holiday Cheer Drive has begun and there are lots of ways you can participate to help our CHS families this holiday season. Listen to the following to see how you can help!
1.) Student vs Staff basketball game is on! Come cheer on your favorite team on Saturday, Dec 9th @7pm in the Lancer Dome. It is going to be EPIC!
2.) Food Drive happening now! Please bring donations to your first-period teacher. The top 3 classes with the most donations will earn a class prize!
3.) Got empty cans and bottles lying around at home? We need them! Please bring in your empty can and bottle donations to J9.
One-Act Festival Auditions
Auditions for the annual Winter One-Act Festival are this Monday, December 4 at 4:00 PM in the choir room. If you have ever wanted to perform on the Churchill stage, this is a fantastic place to start. There is no prior preparation needed and all who audition will be cast. If you are at all interested and have questions, please come see Mr. Patton in H8. Break a leg!
P/NP Classes
If you are interested in taking a class as P/NP, you must complete a Google form with your teacher or counselor no later than 4:00 pm on 12/1. Please check in with your counselor about the consequence of a P/NP on your transcript before making a final decision as all P/NP contracts are final and you cannot request a letter grade once the form is submitted.
