🎤 Graduation Performers & Speakers: Update

Auditions are now complete! The Graduation Committee would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who stepped forward to share their talents.

The caliber of talent this year was truly exceptional, and every single audition was outstanding. Because of this, the committee has some very difficult decisions to make. We are currently reviewing all performances to curate a program that fits together beautifully and represents the spirit of the Class of 2026.

Notification: All auditioners will be notified of the final decisions next week.

🏫 Join Us: Graduation Info Night

Wednesday, April 29 | 6:00 PM – 6:45 PM | Churchill High School
We’d love to see you at our upcoming information night! This is a great chance for families to get up to speed on everything happening between now and graduation day.

Who should come? Parents, guardians, and students are all welcome! This is especially helpful for our early graduates, students in ECCO/GED/EOA programs, or anyone who missed the senior meeting earlier this week.

What to expect: We’ll be sharing the same details we gave the students on the 21st, including a walkthrough of the graduation timeline, ticket info, and some exciting updates about the Grad Night Party.

It’s going to be a quick, informative session to help make sure your senior's big day goes smoothly. We hope to see you there!

📋 The Graduation Checklist: Tracking Your Progress

Students must be cleared on the Graduation Checklist before they can pick up graduation tickets or participate in the graduation ceremony.

The Graduation Checklist shows each student’s progress toward graduation. A checkmark in a column means that your requirements for that specific area are complete. To protect student privacy, the checklist is published by student number. You can find your student number on your most recent report card or in ParentVUE/StudentVUE.
  • Graduation Status Letters: In addition to the checklist, counselors are sending individual graduation status letters to homes. Please look for these in your mailbox next week!
  • First Checklist Publication: Friday, May 1
  • Where to Find It: The checklist will be published weekly in this newsletter, posted in the front office, and available on the CHS Graduation Page.
  • Updates: Please note that this is not a live document; it is refreshed weekly. For a "live" update on your specific status between Fridays, students are welcome to check in with their counselor.

📝 Mandatory Graduation Survey

Opens: Monday, May 4
Due: Friday, May 15
Every senior is required to complete the Graduation Survey. This survey provides us with essential information, including where to send your final transcripts and your post-high school plans.
  • How to complete it: A link to the survey will be sent to your 4J email and published on the CHS Graduation Page on Monday, May 4. We will also include the link in next Thursday’s newsletter.
  • Deadline: Please ensure this is completed by May 15.
Completion of this survey is one of the requirements to be cleared on the Graduation Checklist for ticket pickup!

💰 Financial Assistance for Seniors

Senior year can be expensive: caps and gowns, graduation announcements, Prom, the grad party, and so much more. Don't let finances keep you from participating in all of your senior year activities. Financial assistance is available. Ask at the front office, your counselor, or any teacher or staff member. We can help.
