Community Feedback Survey: Naming of Churchill Gym Floor

Dear Churchill Community,

We are considering permanently naming the Churchill gym court in honor of the late boys' basketball coach, John Roche, to recognize his contributions to our athletic program and community. Coach Roche dedicated a lifetime to shaping the lives of students at Churchill, both on and off the court. Coach Roche's accomplishments include:
  • 299-88 record with the Lancers from 1988-2002 & 2005
  • 5 Midwestern League Titles
  • 11 trips to the State Tournament 
  • 10 State Trophies
  • 2 State Championships (1995 & 2001)
  • 3X Oregon Coach of the Year
  • Member of Churchill and South Eugene Athletic Hall of Fame
