Our first official meeting is today! Please stop by room H12 during lunch to enjoy card and board games with food! Everyone is invited and fun and games are provided!
Join us on Thursday, October 13th, for a tour of local manufacturing companies. Youth will tour two to three companies to get a feel for how diverse and in-demand these jobs are. To register, put your name on the signup sheet outside of the School-to-Career office by tomorrow.
The PSAT is coming to Churchill in just one week! Next Wednesday, October 12th, all 10th-grade students and a few 11th-grade students will be taking the PSAT. This is a practice SAT test that helps prepare you for the SAT test that you would take as a Junior and/or Senior. There are a few things you need for next Wednesday if you are taking the test.
If you would like to study for the test there are a few places to get study guides. Today you can get them from your English teacher if you have 10th grade English, or you can get them from the College and Career Center, the open area near the counselors’ offices.
The City of Eugene will close part of the parking lot by the tennis courts today to pour concrete. This date may change depending on the weather.
Homecoming guest forms are available on the bulletin board in the front office. Each student may invite one guest from another high school to attend. Guest request forms are due back to the front office no later than Monday, October 17 at 4:00 pm.

Your library book is probably due this week. Please stop by the library and return it or Debbie or Jennifer will happily renew your book. There are also book displays and new MakerStations this week. Come build a marble run, create origami, or color our CHS collaborative mandala picture.
