Campus Safety

Doors are locked during the school day to keep our school safe. Do not open the doors for other students or prop doors open. Students must enter through the front office when other doors are locked.

Field Trips are Back!

Join us on Thursday, October 13th, for a tour of local manufacturing companies. Youth will tour two to three companies to get a feel for how diverse and in-demand these jobs are. To register, put your name on the signup sheet outside of the School-to-Career office by the end of the day today.

PSAT

Remember The PSAT is coming to Churchill next week! Wednesday, October 12th, all 10th-grade students and a few 11th-grade students will be taking the PSAT.  We handed out several study guides for the PSAT yesterday. Great job to those of you who picked them up! Today Katy will be handing them out in the main hallway by the planters at lunch.

Also, remember there are a few things you need for next Wednesday if you are taking the test.

1. Bring a calculator to the test with you
2. Bring number 2 pencils
3. Get a good night’s sleep preferably for 2 nights before the test. That is Monday and Tuesday nights.
4. Eat a good dinner the night before and breakfast the day of
5. You are allowed to bring a water bottle and snacks with you to this test

Girls’ Basketball

Preseason activities have started.  If you are interested in playing this year and have not yet participated, see Coach Stewart in room H1 for information.

Seguridad

Las puertas están cerradas durante el día escolar para mantener nuestra escuela segura. No abra las puertas a otros estudiantes ni abra las puertas de apoyo. Los estudiantes deben entrar por la oficina principal cuando las otras puertas están cerradas.

¡Vuelven las excursiones!

Únase a nosotros el jueves 13 de octubre para un recorrido por las empresas manufactureras locales. Los jóvenes visitarán dos o tres empresas para tener una idea de cuán diversos y demandados son estos trabajos. Para registrarse, escriba su nombre en la hoja de registro afuera de la oficina de School-to-Career al final del día de hoy.

Formularios para invitados del baile de Homecoming

Los formularios para invitados del baile de Homecoming están disponibles en el tablón de anuncios en la oficina principal. Cada estudiante puede invitar a un invitado de otra escuela secundaria para que asista. Los formularios de solicitud de invitados deben devolverse a la oficina principal a más tardar el lunes 17 de octubre a las 4:00 p. m.

Biblioteca

Su libro de la biblioteca probablemente vence esta semana. Pase por la biblioteca y devuélvalo o Debbie o Jennifer con gusto renovarán su libro.

Viernes – Universidad de San Francisco durante el almuerzo en F39

PSAT

Recuerde ¡El PSAT se administra en Churchill la próxima semana! El miércoles 12 de octubre, todos los estudiantes de 10° grado y algunos estudiantes de 11° grado tomarán el PSAT. Ayer entregamos varias guías de estudio para el PSAT. ¡Buen trabajo para aquellos de ustedes que los recogieron! Hoy, Katy los entregará en el pasillo principal junto a los plantadores durante el almuerzo.

Además, recuerde que hay algunas cosas que necesita para el próximo miércoles si está tomando la prueba.

1. Traiga una calculadora al examen.
2. Traiga lápices del número 2.
3. Duerma bien por la noche, preferiblemente 2 noches antes del examen. Eso es lunes y martes por la noche.
4. Coma una buena cena la noche anterior y desayune el día del examen
5. Se le permite traer una botella de agua y bocadillos a esta prueba

Baloncesto femenino

Las actividades de pretemporada han empezado. Si está interesado en jugar este año y aún no ha participado, consulte al entrenador Stewart en la sala H1 para obtener información.
