Trans Day of Visibility

Churchill’s Gender and Sexuality Alliance is celebrating Trans Visibility Day today! Make sure to stop by the planters at lunch to get your face painted and grab a bracelet and pronoun pin while you’re at it.

Unified Basketball Practice

The Unified Basketball team will be practicing during lunch tomorrow in the gym from 12:30 to 12:50.

LEAP Deadline

Seniors, your LEAP packet and interview are due the week of April 10th.  Appointments for the LEAP interview are open. Check out the TV monitors by the planters and career and college center for the slide with the QR code or check your nearest drinking faucet for a nearby LEAP poster with the QR code.

Free Period Stickers

Students – If you have a free period this trimester, please see Robin in the College & Career Center to get your sticker on your CHS ID card.

National School Library Month

April is National School Library Month! Come celebrate in the CHS library with new maker stations and a contest. Play library bingo and get entered for a chance to win a gift card. Talk to Debbie or Jennifer in the library for more details. And don’t forget to renew your library books and return your old textbooks.

Prom Tickets

Prom is around the corner and tickets are sold during lunch at the planters. Tickets will be sold for $30 each or two for $50 through April 14th. After the 14th, prices will increase to $35 for a single ticket or $60 for two. Scholarships are available upon request.

Prom Guest Forms

Bringing a guest or an underclassman to prom? You will need a guest form for that. Guest forms are available at the front office and need to be turned in by April 17th at 4 pm.

Theatre Tech for Spring Musical

CHS Thespians are looking for students to join our Theatre Tech group for our upcoming musical. If you’ve ever been interested in the behind-the-scenes work of theatre, now is the time to join! We have positions open working backstage, sound, lighting, props, and costuming. It’s fun and you learn some unique skills. Come to our meeting at 3:45 PM in the Auditorium today or see Mr. Patton in H8 for more details.

Next Step Electronics Recycling Competition

Drop off your old electronics in the STEM hallway until Friday to help CHS compete in an electronic recycling competition. This includes old laptops, phones, chargers, etc.

CHS Intramural Volleyball

Churchill’s very own March Madness… In April! We will be hosting a free intramural volleyball tournament during lunch on April 10–14. Team sign-ups are happening this week during lunch at the planters. Prizes for the winning team!

Summer Driver’s Ed

Registration is open for the Oregon Driver Training Institute summer session at Churchill. Classes are May 16–June 20, 4:00–7:00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Scholarships are available based on need. Come to the front office to get a flyer with complete details.
