International Walk and Bike to School Day

Students and staff: Do you want to make a difference? If you walk, bike, bus, or carpool to school on Wednesday, October 4th, you can help reduce carbon emissions and enter a raffle. Rachel Carson students will be at the front doors near the office to pass out chocolate and register participants in our raffle. Prizes include gift cards to Bagel Sphere and Dutch Bros, skateboards, and Hydroflask bottles. Help us set a new record for participation at CHS by giving up your car for one day on Wednesday, October 4th!

Homecoming Guest Forms

Make sure to turn in your Homecoming guest forms by this Monday at 4:00. Guest forms are required in order to bring someone from another school.

Homecoming Tickets

Homecoming is on October 7th and the theme is “Night in the City.” Tickets are being sold during lunch through next Wednesday at the planters; $10 with ASB, $12 without ASB, and $15 at the door. 

Dropping Classes

The last day to drop a class without a WD/WF and withdrawal paperwork is October 4. If you are thinking about dropping a class make sure to get your request in to your counselor by the end of the school day on October 4 to avoid extra paperwork and a WD/WF on your transcript.

Incompletes

Please check your emails for an Incomplete update from our registrar. All students who earned an Incomplete during Tri 2 or Tri 3 of last year must complete all work by November 9th at 4 p.m. All Incompletes that are not completed by the deadline will be changed to Fs and that grade cannot be changed after the fact. Make sure to connect with your teachers to see what work you need to turn in to change your Incomplete to a letter grade ASAP.
