Indigenous People’s Day

Today is Indigenous People’s Day. We acknowledge that our school is located on Kalapuya Ilihi, the traditional homelands of the Winefelly and Yoncalla bands of the Kalapuya people, who have been here since time immemorial. We recognize and honor their ties to this homeland and support efforts to return the land to Indigenous sovereignty. 

The 4J Natives Program and Churchill’s NASU group is asking for your support in showing solidarity with Indigenous Peoples worldwide by wearing a red ribbon, which are available in the front office. 

Costa Rica 2024

Are you interested in traveling internationally? Want to practice Spanish this summer? Ms. Niki and Ms. Morris will be taking students to Costa Rica. Please stop by room F46 or F37 for more information. There will be an information night via zoom on Wednesday at 6:60!

Library Maker Space Stations

The library has new maker space stations this month. Make a bat bookmark, an origami creation, or a wild design with brain flake blocks. Also, your library books are probably due this week. Please stop by the library to return or renew your books today. You do not need to have your book with you to renew it.
