Navigating High School Night

All students and parents are invited to Navigating High School Night tonight at 6:30 pm in the library, note the room change. Let us help you learn and understand what you need to do and when you need to do it.

Coffee Cart

Come to coffee cart 1st and 2nd periods, located outside J hall, to get your morning started with a delicious coffee, tea or blended drink of your choice.  The drink of the week is Chai Latte.

Fall Play Auditions

Auditions for CHS Thespians’ fall play, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, are today in the auditorium at 4:00 pm. Be prepared with a one-minute memorized monologue from the theatre literature.

Japanese Students

If you are going to apply for the Kakehashi Project, today is the last day. Please bring your application to F55.

Football Fundraiser

Go to Papa’s Pizza on West 11th today to support CHS Football. 50% of the profits go to support your football team. Pick up a flyer in the front office to take with you.

Community Service

Kennedy teachers need volunteers. If you are a sophomore, junior or senior with a free period, you can apply to volunteer. Applications are available in the Career Center or on the table outside the School-to-Career office in the STEM building.

Tuesday, Sept. 17— University of Portland at lunch; Financial Aid and Scholarships Information Night in the Auditorium

Thursday, Sept. 19- Reed College at 11:10 am; New York University at lunch

Tuesday, Sept. 24- Rotary Youth Exchange Overseas study program information session. Parents and students welcome. 7:00 pm in the Library.

Thursday:  JV Girls Soccer vs. Creswell at Creswell Middle School at 4 pm: Release at 1:50 pm;  JV2 Girls Soccer vs. Junction City at Junction City High School at 5 pm: Release at 2:55 pm; JV2 Volleyball vs. Thurston at Thurston High School at 4:15 pm

Friday: V Football vs Wilsonville at 7 pm

Saturday: JV Volleyball vs Springfield at Springfield High School at 8 am;  V Volleyball vs Tualatin at Tualatin High School at 8 am
