CLUB MED

Are you interested in medicine or a career in healthcare? Do you find yourself watching medical shows like Grey’s Anatomy, Scrubs, or the Good Doctor? Were you really good at the board game Operation? Then come and check out CLUB MED tomorrow at lunch in B4. All are welcome.

Fall Play Ticket Sales

Thespian Club is selling tickets to the fall play, The Man Who Came to Dinner, during lunch in the student lounge. Tickets are $7 for students. Be prepared for laughter, penguins, cockroaches, a sarcophagus, and more.

Ultimate Frisbee

The CHS Co-Ed Ultimate Frisbee team practices today from 4:30-6 pm on the fields adjacent to Kennedy MS.

Lancer Pageant

9th Graders – If you are interested in being a Lancer Pageant coordinator, come to the informational meeting at lunch on Nov. 5th & 8th in F39.

Bus Passes

November bus passes are available in the finance office.

Homework Club

Homework Club is available after school today and tomorrow from 3:45-4:45 pm in F36.

Community Service Opportunities

Lane County Volunteer Firefighters –  Volunteers 16 years and older are needed to protect life and property through firefighting and EMS activities. Training through an 11-week academy and then volunteers will be assigned a 14-hour shift every 6th day at one of two staffed stations.

Festival of Trees – Scheduled over six days during Thanksgiving week at Valley River Inn. Volunteers are needed for set up/takedown, working in some of the children’s areas, the raffle tree, roving, & greeters/ticket takers.

Eugene ComicCon – Saturday, November 10th and Sunday, November 11th – Volunteers are needed to help kids make paper rockets for a rocket launcher and flying objects for a wind tunnel. Shifts are 4 hours but you can go early or stay late to enjoy the fun.

Today: CHS Girls Varsity Soccer vs. Lasalle Prep at CHS at 6:30 pm – First Round Playoff Game

Friday: CHS Varsity Football vs Central High School at CHS at 7 pm – Playoff Game

Saturday: State Cross Country Championships at Lane Community College – Girls: 1:45 pm, Boys: 2:20 pm; CHS hosting Girls State Soccer Quarterfinals at 6 pm
