Free food, fun, and prizes! That’s what you’ll find at the WISE Symposium Thursday, May 30th, after school. And cool workshops like: Do Zombies Eat Brains for Better Vision? A sheep brain demonstration where workshop leaders will help students explore concepts around light and vision, and then illustrate how neuroscientists use microscopy to image brains. Register tomorrow at the planters during lunch.
CHS sand volleyball tournament is next week. Team sign-ups are at lunch at the planters. Get a team of 6 together and sign up!

The deadline to apply for the Oregon Promise is June 1st. The Oregon Promise is free money to help you pay for tuition at an Oregon Community College. See Sheree in the counseling center for details.
Community Service Opportunity
McCornack Elementary School – Volunteers are needed to assist McCornack Elementary School with their production of Newsies the Musical during rehearsals every day after school in the Churchill auditorium and backstage during the shows. Show dates are May 31, June 1st and 2nd at CHS. If interested contact Karen Olsen at McCornack Elementary (firstname.lastname@example.org) or just come to the auditorium today after school to help.
The CHS Co-Ed Ultimate Frisbee team practices today from 4:30 to 6 pm on the fields adjacent to Kennedy MS.
