Attention Seniors

Please check the list in front of Jill’s office or check in with Mr. Myers in J12 about Essentials Skill graduation requirements. If you have not finished your Reading, Writing, and Math Essentials Skills we will not be able to give you your graduation tickets on May 13.

Grad Party

Grad Party tickets will be sold at lunch today and tomorrow. Stop by the planters to buy your tickets or to get more information about the party.

Prom

Prom tickets are on sale at the planters during lunch, $30 with ASB, $35 w/out ASB, and $40 at the door.  Guest forms are available on the bulletin board in the front office and are due back by 4:00 pm the Wednesday before the dance.

College & Career Center Events

Today — LCC Admissions Workshop for students who will attend LCC next fall. 2:15–4:15 in the STEM conference room. An admissions representative will help you finish anything you need to to be able to register for classes next fall.

Today — Senior Graduation survey is available in Naviance and is due May 6th. This is a graduation requirement.

Thursday, May 2nd — Rotary Youth Exchange Overseas Study Program Question and Answer Session at lunch in F39. If you are interested in an overseas study program this is for you. All grades are welcome.

Community Service Opportunities

Safety Town 2019 – Eugene Police Dept. – 8 to 10 volunteers needed for this year’s Safety Town Camp. Deadline is May 1st.

Walk Like MADD – June 15th – Lane County MADD Chapter – Volunteers needed to help with parking, set up, tear down, Course Marshall and pulling the tabs off the bibs.  Contact Sarah Conley at:sconley97@gmail.com for more information.

Eugene Mission –  Volunteer and internship opportunities available to high school students who want to know more about non-profit organizational structure.

Kidsports Tot Soccer Program – Volunteers needed to run stations. Basic knowledge of soccer is good but not necessary. The ability and desire to work with children is important.

Find applications and flyers hanging on the wall under the clock in the college and career center.

Ultimate Frisbee

The CHS Co-Ed Ultimate Frisbee team practices today from 4:30 to 6 pm on the fields adjacent to Kennedy MS.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Girls Tennis for their win over North Eugene yesterday; Congratulations to Boys Tennis for their MidWestern League dual league sweep with an undefeated league season; Congratulations to Baseball with a 10-8 win last night over the Thurston Colts;  And in District Golf Action: The Lancers secured a league title at the district tournament and will advance to State! Go, Lancers!

Thursday:  JV Softball vs. Roseburg at 5 pm: Release at 3 pm

Friday:  JV Baseball at Sheldon at 5 pm: No Early Release

Saturday:  Varsity Baseball/Softball at Eagle Point at 1 and 3 pm
