Your library books are probably due again. Please stop by the library to renew or return them and pick up some fun new reads!
LEAP Work Experience
Attention seniors who are using Work Experience to complete the LEAP graduation requirement. The deadline for LEAP packets and interviews is this week. Please check your email for the appointment schedule link or use the QR code on one of the LEAP flyers posted throughout school to schedule an appointment.
Upgrade Your Student Computer
All students need to upgrade their student computers to the latest version of the operating system. Please take some time this week to upgrade the operating system on your student computer. This is a big upgrade that may take the computer several hours to complete. Do not attempt to complete this update using a cellular signal or hotspot. Make sure your computer is in a safe place where it will not be disturbed during the upgrade. Please follow the instructions on the CHS website.
Grad Party Fundraiser
The Graduation Party is holding a Papa’s Pizza fundraiser tomorrow. Pick up a flyer from the front office or the Career Center bulletin board in the Student Lounge.
Seniors, you can purchase your e-ticket to the grad party now by visiting their website at tinyurl.com/CHSgradparty. The party is on graduation day, after the graduation ceremony.
Do you have a question about school? Do you have concerns or ideas that you would like to be considered? Student Government will be available to hear you, on the second Wednesday of every month beginning February 9 in J9. This is an opportunity for students to connect with their representatives and to use student voice to help make Churchill a place for all students.
Lunch Delivery Services
Food and beverage delivery services such as GrubHub, Uber Eats, Door Dash, and others are not permitted on campus. Office staff do not have the ability or responsibility to monitor these deliveries for students. We encourage families to make a plan for their student’s lunch. Students may bring a packed lunch or take advantage of the free meals available for all students in the cafeteria.
Due to the increased level of risk associated with COVID, we need to ensure that students and staff are safe. This means that all students need to eat and drink in the cafeteria or outside. We can no longer allow students to eat or drink in the student lounge/foyer/planter area/hallways/or college & career center. We appreciate your support and willingness to keep everyone safe.
