Today: LSU meets at lunch in the auditorium; NASU meets at lunch in D26 in the cafeteria; Tinker Club meets after school in STEM 105; Climate Action Club meets at lunch in STEM 100; Jewish Student Union meets at lunch in F49 the cooking room; Theatre Tech meets at 4 in the auditorium

Thursday: Thespian Club meets at lunch in H8; Gender & Sexuality Alliance meets at lunch in the auditorium; ASU meets at lunch in F55; Interact Club meets at lunch in F39; WISE meets after school until 4:30 in the STEM building workshop

Friday: FSU meets at lunch in the auditorium

Black Fact of the Day – The Divine Nine

The Divine Nine was created by a group of Black students that attended Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The nine sororities and fraternities include Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority & Iota Phi Theta Fraternity. They all had the common goal to educate and uplift the Black community from racial inequalities.

Table Tennis Tournament

You are invited to the Eagle Point High School State of Oregon High School Table Tennis Invitational Championships, on March 26, 2022. The tournament includes a student division and an adult educator division. Any interested student or staff member is welcome to register and participate. This event is not sponsored by CHS or 4J. Lancer Pageant Fundraiser

Head to Papa’s Pizza today with a flier to help raise money for CMN and support our Lancer Pageant. Fliers are on the posters around campus.

Climate Action Club

Today’s the day! Food waste bins are arriving in the cafeteria. After finishing your food, stop by the blue food waste bins in the cafeteria to help significantly reduce your carbon footprint. Your food waste will become compost for our community.

11th-Grade Students: Computer Upgrade

Soon, Jake will be coming to your 11th-grade classroom to take student computers that have not been upgraded and replace them with upgraded computers. If you want to keep your student computer, you must complete the upgrade before Jake gets to your classroom. Instructions for the upgrade are posted on the CHS website.

Seniors

The UO SAIL program is hosting a ZOOM FAFSA workshop tomorrow from 6:00-7:30 pm. Bilingual Spanish support is provided. All seniors and their families are welcome to attend. See the College and Career Center website for details and the ZOOM link.

LCC is hosting an in-person, hands-on workshop to help you fill out the FAFSA or ORSAA, Oregon Promise Application, OSAC Scholarship Application, LCC Scholarship application, and LCC admissions application on Saturday from 9:00-2:00 at the Downtown Center. Computers, snacks, and drinks will be provided. Bilingual Spanish support provided. See the College and Career Center website for details.

Students

Students who wish to change to Eugene Online Academy for fully online learning for Trimester 3 need to complete the 4J Online/Onsite Learning Change Request form by next Monday. The form is located on the 4j website. Eugene Online students are eligible to attend Churchill activities and to participate on Churchill athletic teams.
