Clubs

Today: LSU meets at lunch in the auditorium; NASU meets at lunch in D26 in the cafeteria; Investment Club meets at lunch in J19; Tinker Club meets after school in the STEM 105

Thursday: Thespian Club meets at lunch in H8; Gender & Sexuality Alliance meets at lunch in the auditorium; ASU meets at lunch in F55; Interact Club meets at lunch in F39; Climate Action Club meets at lunch in STEM 100

Friday: FSU meets at lunch in the auditorium

CHS Students

All students are required to carry their current Student ID with them while on campus. If you do not have a current Student ID, see Kym in the attendance office at lunch, during your free period, or after school.

Starting next week we will be issuing free period stickers for Trimester 2 that attach to the back of your Student ID. All students with a free period(s) in Trimester 2 should see Colleen at lunch in the student lounge for their sticker(s).

Library

If you haven’t already, please return your textbooks from last trimester or stop by the library and renew them.

LCC Presentation

Juniors, seniors, and their families are invited to attend LCC’s admissions presentation on Zoom tonight at 6:30 pm. Get answers to questions about the admissions process. Check your email or the flyers posted on campus for more information and the Zoom link.

Student Schedules

If you still need to add classes to your Trimester 2 schedule, complete the schedule change request form on the CHS Scheduling page. A list of available courses is posted in the College and Career Center. Friday is the last day to submit your request.

Seniors

Senior portraits are due to Don Squires by December 17. See the Graduation page for more information.

Secret Snowflakes are on sale today during lunch at the planters. Send a sweet message to the person of your choice for only $1.

Twelve Angry Jurors

CHS Thespians’ production of Twelve Angry Jurors is running tomorrow, Friday, Saturday, & December 16, 17, and 18 at 7:00 pm. Twelve complete strangers have been tasked with determining the guilt or innocence of a young man accused of murdering his father. However, the guilty verdict proves to be not nearly as sure as it seems. Join us for the grand return of theatre at Churchill. Tickets are $7 for students at $10 for adults and can be purchased at the door or from any CHS Thespian. Doors open at 6:30 pm with curtains going up at 7:00 pm. Holiday Spirit Week

Students and Staff – It’s time to get into the holiday spirit! Join us next week in spreading joy with a Holiday Spirit Week!  Monday – Holiday PJ’s, Tuesday – Holiday Head Gear, Wednesday – Wooly Wednesday/Cozy Flannel, Thursday – Blizzard Day/White Out & Friday – Ugly Sweater.

Boys Lacrosse

Are you looking for a Spring sport? The South Eugene Boys Lacrosse team is inviting you to a Lacrosse Demo Day on the South Eugene turf field tomorrow from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. No experience is necessary. If you have played basketball, soccer, football, hockey, or ultimate, you will quickly learn lacrosse. Come to the South Eugene turf tomorrow and win prizes.
