On Friday some CHS students will try not to speak in recognition of the Day of Silence. Please respect those who choose to remain silent.
Our very own Devin Bahr competed in the State Thespian Festival last weekend in both Monologue and Solo Musical categories. She was selected as a finalist, qualifying in the national competition, for her Solo Musical Entry and performed in front of the entire festival. Congratulations, Devin, on the amazing performance. A selection from the One-Act, “Bang! Bang! You’re Dead” performed by Sara Blythe, Sean Burke, Ryan Dalimore, Ejaiya Davis, Rogan DeCalesta, Em Martini, Madison Yeash, and directed by George Butterick also scored as superior at the Regionals Competition.
Churchill choirs are holding auditions at lunch through this week. Prepare a 30-45 second piece of a song that showcases your voice. Sign-up sheets are located on the front of the choir room door.
The Graduation Information Night is tonight at 6:30 pm. Please come if you missed advisory last Friday. We’ll share important graduation information and you can buy your Grad Party tickets tonight!
Sign-ups are available for graduating students to give speeches, dance, perform music, read poetry, or any other performance art that you would like to share at graduation. Audition rules are posted outside Jill’s office.
