Churchill cannot use volunteers in any capacity at this time. The following quote is from the 4J Return to Learning FAQ page.
Q: Can volunteers help with online instruction?
4J schools are not using volunteers at this time, either on-site or on Zoom. We truly appreciate parents’ and community members’ desire to help and volunteer. However, at this point the district is not ready to authorize volunteers in distance learning. Our teachers are still adjusting to tremendous change, learning new programs, establishing new routines, and connecting with students. After getting distance learning strongly established, adding volunteer opportunities may be possible later in the year, with consideration to safety, supervision, and training.
Background checks expire after two years. Contact the 4J Volunteer Desk to check the status of your background check.
All volunteers must complete SafeSchools training each school year. You will receive an email with your username and a link to the online training when your initial background check is complete and at the beginning of each school year. Contact the 4J Volunteer Desk to check the status of your SafeSchools training.
