National Honor Society
For all those invited to apply for National Honor Society, please attend the mandatory informational meeting Thursday at lunch in the choir room.
Some people try to insulate young people from experiencing beliefs different from their own. They fight to remove books from schools and libraries across our country. While diversity is seldom given as a reason for challenging a book, it is an underlying factor. Challenged books are often about people and issues that challengers would prefer not to consider. At the Churchill Library, we are against banning books, because the freedom to read books of any kind is a precious thing. Stop by the library and explore the Banned Books display.
Today and all this week during lunch make sure to nominate your homecoming court and royals. Look for the nomination table at the planters in the student lounge.
