Earth Week

Stop by the Rock to learn about waste. Today’s Earth Fact: 16 billion disposable coffee cups are used each year in the United States. By bringing your own cup to a coffee shop, including Dutch Bros, you could help save 6.5 million trees from being cut down, 4 billion gallons of water from being wasted and enough electricity to power 54 thousand homes.

NHS

NHS meets at lunch on Thursday in the choir room.

Bus Passes

May bus passes are now available in the finance office with Ken.

Grad Party Fundraiser & Party Tickets

There is a Grad Party Fundraiser at Papa’s Pizza today. Help raise money for the grad party while enjoying some delicious Papa’s pizza.

Grad Party tickets will be sold at lunch tomorrow and Thursday. Stop by the planters to buy your tickets or to get more information about the party.

Prom

Prom is May 11th and the theme is enchanted garden. Court nominations for seniors & tickets will be at lunch at the planters until May 10th. Tickets are $30 with ASB, $35 without ASB, and $40 at the door.  Guest forms are available on the bulletin board in the front office and due back by 4:00 pm the Wednesday before the dance.

Student Leadership

If you’re thinking about running for a Student Leadership position, see Robin in the front office for more information and to pick up an application. Applications are due April 29th.

College & Career Center Events

Seniors, you need to know how to read, interpret, understand and compare your award letters. Come to the Understanding Financial Aid Award Letter workshop tonight at 6:30 pm in the Library.

Softball

CHS softball is having a fundraiser at Teriyaki Madness on River Road tomorrow. 15% of the profits go back to the softball program. Look for flyers around school.
