Today: Women in Science & Engineering (WISE) meets at lunch in the STEM conference room; Club Med meets at lunch in B4; Climate Action Club meets at lunch in K8; All students interested in Latino Student Union, Black Student Union, and Native American Student Union – there is an informational meeting at lunch in J9 or check in with Kevin in the main hall when the lunch bell rings. All students are invited regardless of race.

Friday: Women’s Empowerment meets at lunch in J15

Coffee Cart

Come to coffee cart 1st and 2nd periods, located outside J hall, to get your morning started with a delicious coffee, tea or blended drink of your choice.  The drink of the week is Chai Latte.

Community Service

Kennedy teachers need volunteers. If you are a sophomore, junior or senior with a free period, you can apply to volunteer. Applications are available in the Career Center or on the table outside the School-to-Career office in the STEM building.

Attention Students

If you plan on attending a football game please remember we do not allow backpacks, skateboards, or balls to be brought into the stadium. We also do not allow outside food or drink (including Dutch Bros.). Please plan ahead to leave these items at home or in your vehicle. CHS will not be responsible for lost/stolen items that are left during the football game.

School Spirit

Show your school spirit and represent your class! We need all students to come dressed in the following color schemes for tomorrow, Friday the thirteenth.  Seniors wear red, Juniors wear green, Sophomores wear blue, Freshmen wear yellow. Represent and show your spirit!

Tuesday, Sept. 17- University of Portland at lunch; Financial Aid and Scholarships Information Night in the Auditorium

Thursday, Sept. 19- Reed College at 11:10 am; New York University at lunch

Tuesday, Sept. 24- Rotary Youth Exchange Overseas study program information session. Parents and students welcome. 7:00 pm in the Library.


Today:  JV Girls Soccer vs. Creswell at Creswell Middle School at 4 pm: Release at 1:50 pm;  JV2 Girls Soccer vs. Junction City at Junction City High School at 5 pm: Release at 1:50 pm; JV2 Volleyball vs. Thurston at Thurston High School at 4:15 pm: Dismiss at 2:10 pm

Friday: V Football vs Wilsonville – Break out your Hawaiian shirt, dust off your grass skirt, and come ready to cheer on the CHS Lancers to victory! Kickoff at 7.

Saturday: JV Volleyball vs Springfield at Springfield High School at 8 am;  V Volleyball vs Tualatin at Tualatin High School at 8 am
