School to Career News

Seniors –  Are you interested in attending Lane Community College next fall? LCC placement testing in reading, sentence skills, & math will be offered on Monday, November 19th in STEM 118 at 3:45 pm. Students must have an L-number and bring a valid photo ID. If you don’t have an L-number, see Mary Beth in the School-to-Career office in the STEM building today. You should have received an email about LCC testing, so be sure to check that for more information.

LEAP

Seniors who need to turn in their LEAP contracts: Please join Mary Beth on Tuesday, Nov. 20, during lunch in the STEM Conference room for information on options to complete the LEAP or for you to hand in your contract. LEAP packets will be available to those with contracts. This contract was due on Wednesday, Oct. 17th! Also be proactive and get your LEAP project completed on Thursday, Nov. 29th, with a LEAP interview. Get this graduation requirement checked off your list and start enjoying your final year of high school sooner! If you have a contract on file but have not completed the interview, check your email for the online signup form or see Mary Beth in the School-to-Career office in the STEM building.  The Lancer Extended Application Project (LEAP) is a State of Oregon Department of Education mandated graduation requirement.

Canned Food Drive

Bring your cans to 1st period, repeat, bring your cans to 1st period for our food drive. Let’s win this! Tomorrow is the last day to bring cans. Thank you!

Homework Club

Homework Club is available after school today from 3:45 to 4:45 pm in F36.

School Grounds

Our student-run coffee shop is participating in the Canned Food Drive. When you bring your canned food to the box outside School Grounds during 1st or 2nd periods this week you will receive 50 cents off your drink purchase.
