Happy Pi Day!

Pi Day is observed on March 14 since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant digits of π (pi).

Pi Day Fact: The record for most digits of pi memorized is held by Rajveer Meena of India. He recited 70,000 decimal places of pi in 2015.

Lancer Pageant

Today is the Lancer Pageant’s fundraiser at Carls Jr. from 5-8 pm. Get a flyer from the office, a pageant member or poster to support Children’s Miracle Network. Also, seniors — There is a decorating meeting for pageant night at lunch in the conference room. If you would like to help create decorations, plan to attend.

LCC Placement Test

Seniors attending LCC in the fall, placement testing is Wednesday, March 20th, at 3:45 pm in STEM 118. Bring your photo ID and L-number. If you do not have an L-number, see Mary Beth in the School-to-Career office.


NHS meets today at lunch in the choir room.  The Yearbook photo will be taken.

Mental Health Awareness

Mental Health Awareness month is coming and we are looking to make a video featuring students who are willing to share their story regarding struggles with mental health. If interested see Mrs. Neill in the gym.

Community Service Opportunity

Camp Fire Wilani — Volunteers are needed to help with crafts,  games, and other activities with kids of all ages for their Absolutely Incredible Kid Day on Saturday, March 16th, 9-3 pm at the Hilyard Community Center. See the bulletin board in the College and Career Center for details and directions to sign up.
