Recycling at Churchill

The Rachel Carson Environmental Leadership class picks up the recycling at CHS each week and would like to share a tip to improve our school’s recycling.   Cans and bottles are a GREAT thing to recycle here at school. Just place your cans and bottles in any blue bin alongside paper or any other recyclable material.  But please be sure your drink containers are empty of all liquid. When liquids spill on other recyclables, the whole load is contaminated and can no longer be recycled.  Thanks.

The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art is offering a new paid internship opportunity for students in grades 9 through 12.  Hurry and pick up an application on the table outside of the School-to-Career office in the STEM building. The deadline to apply is February 28th.
