Choir & Band Valentines
If you bought a valentine from a choir/band student, please pick it up from the choir room at lunch or after school.
You may have received an overdue library notice. That means it’s time to stop by the library and return or renew your books.
The next Lancer Pageant fundraiser is at Panda Express on February 21st. Get a flyer or have a picture on your phone when you go to support the Lancer Pageant and Children’s Miracle Network.
Today at lunch is the last day to purchase a singing valentine from the Thespian Club.
REV Hygiene Supply Drive
Today is the last days to bring in hygiene products for REV’s Hygiene Products Drive to the boxes around the school.
LCC Placement testing in Reading Comprehension and Writing will be offered Tuesday, February 19th, at 3:45 pm in STEM 118. Students must have an L-number and bring a valid photo ID. See Mary Beth in the STEM office if you have questions.
WISE Symposium 2019
Are drones and robots in your future career? Do you want to take a trip into virtual reality? Find out the answers to these questions and more at the free WISE Symposium 2019 on Thursday, Feb. 28th from 3:30 to 7:30 pm. Eat pizza. Win prizes. All CHS students are invited to attend but you must register on Churchill’s home page and click on the WISE ad in the banner box.
Kidsports Valentine’s Basketball Tournament — Feb 16th & 17th — Need volunteers to run the game clock and keep the scorebook for games. See Krista Cummings in the attendance office for times and locations.
ElRod Center — a local organization that helps support youth struggling in our society – needs volunteers to help with event advertising and registration on Feb 15th-17th & Feb 22nd-24th. For more information pick up a flyer in the College and Career Center.
Coyote Outdoor School needs volunteers to lead Outdoor School activities from mid-May to early June. Volunteer for 1 to 2 programs for 3 days/2 nights or 5 days/4 nights. Pick up a flyer in the College and Career Center for more information.
