Black Facts of the Day
On this day in 1907, Grace Towns Hamilton was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Hamilton was an educator, a Civil Rights activist, and the first African American woman to serve in the Georgia House of Representatives.
On February 10, 1964, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 passed the House. In June of 1964, the Act passed the Senate, and in July it was signed into law. This Act was a landmark civil rights law that outlawed discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, and later sexual orientation and gender identity.

Winter One-Act Festival
CHS Thespians are proud to present the return of the Winter One-Act Festival. Join us Sunday, February 13th at 7 pm for an evening filled with short-form theatre entirely directed, produced, and acted by CHS students. Tickets are $5 at the door. Masking is required while in attendance.
Senior baby pictures and dedications are due by February 25th to Don Squires at email@example.com. For photo and dedication parameters visit the CHS website Yearbook page.
Senior quotes are also due Feb. 25th and must be limited to 20 words or fewer. If needed, forms are available in C5.
Students who wish to change to Eugene Online Academy for fully online learning for Trimester 3 need to complete the 4J Online/Onsite Learning Change Request form by Monday, February 28. The form is located on the 4j website. Eugene Online students are eligible to attend Churchill activities and to participate on Churchill athletic teams.
