Clubs

Churchill Dance Club meets at lunch in the cheer room; GSA meets at lunch in F49,  BSU meets tomorrow at lunch in J9; Theater Tech meets tomorrow at 3:45 in the auditorium; NSU meets Wednesday at lunch in the auditorium; Anime Club meets Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 in F55; LSU meets Friday after school in J9; Peace Club meets in J9 at lunch on Friday; Women’s Empowerment & Crafting meets Friday at lunch in J15.

School Grounds

Students and Staff – Are you feeling tired 1st or 2nd period? Come to School Grounds and wake up with some Cafe Mam coffee drinks for only $1.50-$2.50. Find us outside the J hall.

College & Military Visits

Today – Western Oregon University, 10:00 am in F39

Wednesday – Whitworth University, 1:00 pm in F39

Thursday – Northwest Christian University, 9:45 am in F39 and Whitman College, 1:15 pm in F39

Friday – Navy ROTC, 11:45 am in the College and Career Center

Gym Access

The gym is a classroom and is not open during class time.  If you need to access the gym, it will be open after school at 3:30 pm.  There is no early entry into the gym unless you are being dismissed for a sport.

Rotary Youth Exchange

All students – the Rotary Youth Exchange information meeting is tonight at 7:00 pm in the Library. Rotary Youth Exchange is a program that sends high school students for a year of study abroad.

Seniors

The Financial Aid and Scholarship Night is tomorrow, September 25th, at 6:30 pm in the Auditorium. You will hear from experts in the fields of federal and state financial aid, completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and finding and applying for scholarships.

NAACP Youth Council

An informational meeting about the NAACP Youth Council is Wednesday at lunch in K8. We’ll talk about our engagement in leading marches, public speaking, and social events.

Ultimate Frisbee

The CHS Co-Ed Ultimate Frisbee team practices Wednesday from 4:30 to 6 pm on the fields adjacent to Kennedy MS. Everyone is invited to join.
