Unified Basketball

The Unified Basketball team will have its last practice today during lunch in the gym. Please make sure to come to practice or see Jenn Williams in F60 to confirm your spot to play in the game. The Unified Basketball team will play on Thursday night at 6:30 at CHS.

CHS Library

The library will be closed Thursday morning during 1st, 2nd and 3rd periods. Please plan ahead if you have a free period or if you need a book. The library will be open on Thursday before school, during lunch, and in the afternoon.

Advisory

Wednesday is an Advisory schedule. Please make sure to follow the Advisory bell schedule on our website.

SENIORS! Important graduation meeting on Wednesday during Advisory. Go to your Advisory for attendance, then come to the auditorium. Information on the graduation rehearsal and ceremony will be shared, as well as details on the Senior Breakfast and Grad Party. Voting for the “Best of” Awards, such as Best Smile, Best Car, etc. will be explained. Don’t miss this meeting during Advisory this week.

AVID 9

AVID 9 is putting on a 15th Night Fundraiser car wash on Saturday, June 4th from 10 am-1 pm. Advance tickets are on sale May 24th-26th for $10 at lunch.

Students

Reminder: If you are involved in the restorative practices in-schools discussion panel with Darren Reilly, please arrive at the conference room, F39, as quickly as possible at lunchtime. Lunch will be provided. Please check with Lancelot Falcon if you have questions.

College Signing Celebration

Churchill High School would like to recognize all seniors that are planning on participating in extracurricular activities at the college level next year. Lancer Pageant

Join us for a fun night of dancing, jokes, and laughter all for a great cause on June 3rd at 7 pm in the CHS auditorium. All money raised goes to support Peacehealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend. Don’t miss finding out our final amount raised for CMN!

Power Tuff Football Players and Coaches

Tomorrow is the first practice. Practice will be after school from 4-5:30 pm on the turf. If you plan on playing, please turn in your paperwork and payment to coach AJ ASAP.

W.I.S.E. Symposium

Register today for the free W.I.S.E. Symposium.  Use the QR code or the link address at the planters in the student lounge or in the cafeteria. It’s easy and you can order your FREE T-Shirt at the same time. Attend the symposium and meet  Lauren Hallett from the University of Oregon Institute of Ecology and Evolution. Lauren is a plant community ecologist with the goal of producing “usable” science to improve ecosystem management, plus more climate change-related workshops.

Clubs

Baloncesto Unificado

El equipo de Baloncesto Unificado tendrá su última práctica hoy durante el almuerzo en el gimnasio. Asegúrese de venir a practicar o ver a Jenn Williams en F60 para confirmar su lugar para jugar en el juego. El equipo de baloncesto unificado jugará el jueves por la noche a las 6:30 en CHS.

Biblioteca de Churchill

La biblioteca estará cerrada el jueves por la mañana durante el primer, segundo y tercer período. Planifique con anticipación si tiene un período libre o si necesita un libro. La biblioteca estará abierta el jueves antes de la escuela, durante el almuerzo y por la tarde.

Funciones del mago de Oz

W.I.S.E. Symposium

Únete a la estudiante de doctorado en ecología de la universidad de Oregón, Sarah Erskine, mientras demuestra cómo el cambio climático afecta a las plantas en las praderas del Valle WIllamette. Puedes asistir a este taller en el décimo simposio de W.I.S.E. el jueves 26 de mayo de 3:30pm a 7:30pm. Este evento está abierto a todos los estudiantes de preparatoria del Condado Lane. Únete a estos talleres gratuitos, prácticos e interactivos dirigidos por profesionales y científicos locales. Podrás ganar premios, una camisa gratis y comer pizza.
