Lancer PRIDE

This week we celebrate Lancer PRIDE.   Today we celebrate the students that teachers nominated who demonstrate Perseverance.  If your name is called, come to the office to pick up your certificate. On Friday there will be a chance to win gift cards. Today’s winners: Freshman: Alicia Jones; Sophomore: Colin McDowell; Junior: Madison Alden; Senior: Caitlin Frost.  Keep up the good work Churchill.

Attention AP Students

Today is the last day to turn in your testing fee to the finance office. If you do not turn in your money today and you still wish to test in May, you will be required to pay an additional $55 late exam fee. Please see Mrs. Kamens or Mr. Myers with questions.

Lancer Pageant

Thursday the Lancer Pageant’s fundraiser is at Carls Jr. from 5 to 8 pm. Get a flyer from a pageant member or poster to support Children’s Miracle Network. Also, seniors — There is a decorating meeting for pageant night on Thursday at lunch in the conference room. If you would like to help create decorations, plan to attend.

CHS Choral Concert

Come see Churchill’s Concert Choir, DSS, and Treble Choir accompanied by Kennedy Middle School and the Tenor/Bass acapella group “Counterpoint” tomorrow. There will be prizes.

Community Service Opportunities

Eugene Public Library Book Sale — April 12th–14th at the Fairgrounds.

Parenting Now — Volunteers are needed who enjoy working with children for their parenting groups in April. Volunteers will lead activities with toddlers and young children 3 hours a week for 10 or 12 weeks.

Bridgeway House — Volunteers are needed for the silent auction on Saturday, April 6th. Duties include selling raffle chances, assisting caterers, and cleaning up once the event is over. Lunch will be served.

Track & Field

It’s not too late to sign up for Track. Sign-ups will go until Spring Break. There are no tryouts and anyone can join. Contact Coach Stiegler with questions.
