Young Republicans

Students- Young Republicans is starting. There will be an informational meeting in J24 tomorrow at lunch. Everyone is welcome.

Lancer Pageant

Seniors – Voting for your 2019 Lancer Pageant contestants will be at lunch on January 9th & 10th in the student lounge. Make sure to vote!


This week we are celebrating the PRIDE words each day. Staff have voted on students that represent the different letters of pride.  Today we celebrate Perseverance – the ability to keep going despite difficulties. Students that embody this word are: Freshmen- Glen Fredette, Sophomore- Alex Clark, Junior- Kailey Schildmeyer, and Senior- Brycen Miller.  Your name will be entered into a drawing on Friday.


Seniors, if you are planning or thinking about going to LCC next fall and need help filling out the Oregon Promise application, come to the library after school for help.

LCC Placement testing in reading, sentence skills, & math will be Wednesday at 3:45pm in STEM 118. Students must have an L-number and bring a valid photo ID.

Warmth Drive

This Friday is the last day for the Warmth Drive, so bring in any gently used or new blankets, coats, cold weather accessories by Friday.

Homework Club

Homework Club is after school today, Wednesday & Thursday from 3:45 to 4:45 pm in F36.

Volunteer Opportunity

Kidsports needs volunteers to help in the office and their equipment room. The hours are flexible and can be done anytime between 8:30 am–5:30 pm M–F. See the monitor in the College and Career Center or student lounge for contact information.


Congratulations to Charley Page-Jones and Kylie Taylor for setting two new school records at the swim meet last Friday.

Churchill Football Players

The boys basketball teams plays Thurston tomorrow night at 7pm. Let’s all attend the game and be loud and proud and support our other sports. GO Lancers!

Saturday:  Girls JV Basketball at Junction City: 9am and Noon; Boys Freshman and JV Basketball at Junction City: Freshman 9:30/Noon/JV 10:30 and 1:30pm;  Wrestling at Thurston Tournament
