Caps and Gowns

If you didn’t make it to the gown pickup station during the Spring Festival, you can pick up your cap and gown at the front office anytime next week.

It’s not too late to order or borrow a gown. Order online at, or visit Jill in the front office to borrow a gown.

Graduation Ticket Distribution

Your ticket lottery requests will be ready to pick up on Tuesday.

All lottery requests were filled, and there are still extra tickets available. Graduating students can continue to request up to 14 total tickets until all tickets are gone. Don’t wait. The remaining tickets may go fast.

Students must be cleared to graduate in order to pick up tickets.

Remember to request wheelchair seating or an interpreter if you need one.

Click here to see the full ticket distribution policy.

Before you Graduate: Save your School Data

When you finish your graduation requirements, you will be unenrolled and you will lose access to your 4J Gmail, Google Drive, StudentVUE, and other services that use your 4J sign-in.

Files (Google Drive) **DO THIS NOW**: Copy any files and data that you wish to keep from your 4J accounts to a personal device, external drive, or personal Google Drive. For instructions on using Google Takeout to download your 4J Google data, visit

It may take a while (a few days) for Google to process the request. Once it is done, a link to download the data is emailed to whatever email the student specified. You must download the data before your 4J account is turned off (i.e. as soon as you possibly can in June…accounts may be turned off as early as July 1).

Emails and Contacts: Google Takeout (above) can save your Gmail contacts, but it will not export your emails. The easiest way to save emails from your Student Gmail account is to forward them to your personal email address.

Naviance: If you are using your 4J email address for your Naviance account, you must change it to a personal email to avoid losing access to Naviance.

Return Your 4J Student Laptop

All seniors must return their student laptop, charger, and laptop sleeve.

On June 9, the last day for seniors, you can turn in your student computer in the Student Center during 3rd period*, lunch, 4th period*, or after school.

*You are not excused from class to turn in your student computer. Use a free period or non-class time.

You will not receive your diploma until you have returned all 4J property. This includes library books, textbooks, and all technology devices and equipment.

If you need to schedule a separate time to return the student computer and other 4J property, visit the front office to make a plan.

Senior Parade

2023 graduates! We are excited to celebrate you and also provide you with the opportunity to participate in this year’s Senior Parade on Monday, June 5.

The Senior Parade allows seniors the opportunity to visit their elementary school, and possibly middle, to parade in their cap and gown. If this is something you are interested in being a part of, please enter your information in this form.

Power Tough Football Signup

Calling All Juniors and Seniors – If you are interested in coaching or playing in the Power Tough game on Wednesday, June 7th at 7 pm, please see Robin in the College & Career Center to sign up.

Grad Night Party!

Hello fellow parents! Less than a month until graduation and we know everyone is busy and stretched thin. Please read through to the end because this includes valuable information you need to know!

Consider coming to the last few Grad Committee Meetings on Wednesday nights 6 pm in the school library. We have some last-minute projects and assignments we need assistance completing.

All procured items and donations MUST be submitted to the committee no later than Wednesday, May 31st either by bringing them to the meeting or contacting Rhi or Sarah for pickup. Text 541-954-8597 or email to make pickup arrangements. If you, your employer, family member, or friend would like to help our seniors please consider purchasing an item from our Amazon wish list and donating it to the raffle prizes. We are a non-profit organization and will provide a tax receipt for any donations whether an item or financial.

Amazon Grad Party Prize Wish List

Tickets can be purchased online by going to the website: or at the Cap and Gown distribution day at the high school. A waiver must be signed and is available online and in the school office. Tickets are $35/each which covers the food and entertainment, everything else is via donation or fundraising. If your student needs a scholarship of the ticket to attend, please email with your name and contact number and your graduate’s name.

The party will start at 11 pm, June 12th at the University of Oregon Rec Center (1320 E. 15th Ave.). Doors will close at midnight and if your graduate leaves they will not be readmitted. Graduates are welcome to drive themselves or carpool. For graduates needing transportation to and from the party, New Hope West has graciously donated their small buses to take kids back and forth. If your graduate needs transportation for the Grad Party, please check the box at the bottom of the release waiver that indicates such.

Your graduate should bring a bathing suit, towel, and their cell phone to the event. Bags can be stored, but we would advise everyone to bring as few possessions as possible. They’ll need their arms free to take home any prizes they win.

We will need volunteers at the party to run gambling tables and man the food/drink stations. If you are interested in assisting, please email us, or sign up on the party website.

Any questions, please email us or call 541-954-8597.

The Lancer Grad Party 2023 is a community-sponsored event. Liability is the responsibility of the organizers.
