Churchill Class of 2021 and Families,
Churchill’s 2021 in-person graduation ceremony is still scheduled for Friday, June 11, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. at the Hult Center’s Silva Concert Hall. The in-person ceremony may be canceled, rescheduled, or relocated depending on public health conditions.
Churchill will have a virtual graduation ceremony on Thursday, June 10, 2021. The virtual graduation will not be canceled, whether or not we hold an in-person ceremony. As with last year’s virtual ceremony, this production will remain available to the public on the Graduation! page and the link will be emailed to families.
Graduates will have the opportunity to have a photo taken in their cap and gown. Each student will receive one photo at no cost. Photography will be provided by Northwest Exposures. We will plan to have the photographer at our cap and gown pickup event. The photography will move to the in-person graduation ceremony if we are able to have it.
You will be seeing the Graduation at a G’Lance newsletter in your inbox more often as we get closer to the day of graduation. These newsletters will be posted through the Graduation! page along with a calendar of graduation events and a list of contacts to help you along the way.
New deadlines are coming soon. Keep reading for details.
Churchill Graduation Committee
Dear Senior Class Parents,
As the senior class makes its way towards graduation, we have an opportunity to plan and prepare for celebrating this major milestone. Senior class parents are getting organized to generate ideas and find creative ways to put together a senior celebration within the parameters of the current circumstances. Unfortunately, the COVID pandemic has significantly impacted this class’s senior experience. Let’s find a safe yet memorable way to capture the excitement of graduating high school while also giving them the recognition they deserve.
There will be a senior class parents planning meeting (virtual with Zoom) on Tuesday, February 9, 6:00–7:00 p.m. Please consider attending to learn more as we generate ideas and identify opportunities. Provide your contact information through this Survey Monkey form — https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/6SBTVDZ — to receive the Zoom meeting link and to be kept informed as plans come together. For more information, feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Together, let’s give our seniors a special and memorable send-off.
