Graduation at a G’Lance 5/17

Churchill Class of 2019 and Families,

Cap and gown pick up is on Tuesday. Miners Graduate Services will be in the student lounge from 10:00 am through the end of lunch to hand out your caps and gowns.

The Graduation Survey is still available. If you haven’t already, please log in to Naviance and complete the survey. It takes about five minutes and it helps us celebrate your achievements and plans for the future.

We had a successful week of ticket distribution. All next week, ticket distribution will be in Jill’s office only during student lunch. You can still pick up your six reserved tickets and request additional tickets through the lottery. Please review the checklist to make sure you are cleared to graduate. Here’s what we need to know when you come to pick up your tickets:

  • Your name and student number
  • You are cleared on the checklist
  • The total number of tickets you will need
  • The total number (if any) of your guests who will be in a wheelchair or using a walker
  • The total number (if any) of your guests who will need an interpreter and the language they need

Graduation is Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. at the Hult Center.

The Checklist

2019 Graduation Checklist – 0517 (updated 5/17/2019)

Students cannot pick up graduation tickets or participate in the graduation ceremony until all columns on the checklist are checked off.

  • To protect student privacy, the checklist is published with student numbers rather than names. You can find your student number on your most recent report card. In ParentVUE or StudentVUE, the student number appears under the student’s portrait in the top left corner.
  • A check mark means that your requirements for that column are complete.

Calendar

Walking Partner and Seating Sign Up May 13–31

If you want to be seated next to a specific person, you will need to sign up for a walking partner. You may request a walking partner when you pick up your graduation tickets. Both walking partners must be cleared to graduate.
