Students Ride Free on LTD

All students in kindergarten through 12th grade can now ride Lane Transit District (LTD) buses for free. For now, students can ride free if they show their school identification card or just tell the bus driver where they are a student.

Winter Holiday Resources

2019 Winter Holiday Resources

Lancer Pageant*

As you may have heard, Lancer Pageant is starting up and we could not be more excited for this new year! Lancer pageant is a program right here in our school that spends 3-5 months of the year raising money for Children’s Miracle Network. As you may know, our program here consists of a coordinating team of students from each grade doing all the behind-the-scenes work, as well as ten senior contestants who participate in fundraising and the overall pageant. This team will be working hard from now until April to raise as much money as we can until the night of the Pageant (April 17th) our last fundraising event of the year. This year we are hoping to raise $30,000 that will go right back to the pediatrics unit at our local hospital, PeaceHealth Sacred Heart at Riverbend.

Because we are just kicking off the Pageant season we are looking to submit some dates to the Glancer. Coming up we have the contestant informational meeting dates on December 5th and 6th (lunchtime in the Conference Room), and applications from those meetings due on Dec. 10th. We then will have the senior class vote on the contestants on the 18th and 19th during lunch. Although we are waiting to schedule the dates of our fundraisers until we have the schedules of our contestants, we encourage everyone to keep their eyes and ears out as we will be hosting an array of events from January through April. These fundraisers consist of activities from Bunco Nights, basketball tournaments, and car washes, to flyer fundraisers with local restaurants. We frequently post on our social media pages, and there will be posters about the upcoming fundraisers around the school a week in advance. Thank you so much for all of your support in our program!
