ID Cards

Students – Please come pick up your student ID card today in the front office. You should always carry your ID card when on campus.

Advisory Next Wednesday

Our first Advisory class, Period 18 on student schedules, is next Wednesday, October 6th. Check out the CHS website for the Advisory bell schedule. If you don’t see a Period 18 on your schedule, contact your counselor.

Career and College Readiness Day, October 13

Career and College Readiness Day is coming soon. On October 13, 10th- and 11th-grade students will take the PSAT test. 9th-graders will explore career options. 12th-grade students will have a class meeting and learn about college and career options. Attendance is required for all students. Buses will run on the regular Wednesday schedule.

Feminist Student Union

FSU meets today at lunch in the auditorium. All are welcome.

Asian Student Union

ASU meets today at lunch in F55.

College and Military Visits

Today – Oberlin College in F36 –  Remember, lunch today begins at 11:50 am

Monday, 10/4 – Reed College

Tuesday, 10/5 – Corban University

Wednesday, 10/6 – US Marines

Friday, 10/8 – Colby College

Your School Health Center now has the flu vaccine available.   You can stop by or call to schedule an appointment,  541-790-5227.


The Free Application for Federal Student Aid and the Oregon Student Aid Application are now available online. If you need money for college, it is important to fill out one of these applications. If you are not sure which one, see Sheree. If you are thinking about going to a community college in Oregon and need money to help pay your tuition, apply for the Oregon Promise grant now. More information is on The College & Career Center website. See Sheree if you have questions or need help.
