Rachel Carson Plant Sale
Planting a garden? Come by the Rachel Carson Plant Sale to purchase flower baskets and vegetable starts in the greenhouse by the STEM building during lunch and after school until 4:00 pm today and every day through Friday, May 17th or until they’re gone. Donations requested.
It is Teacher Appreciation Week. Today is the last day to stop by the office and write a note about the cool things your teachers have done for you. Place your notes in the decorated box so they can be shared with your teachers.
Seniors – Graduation Tickets
On Monday graduation tickets will be distributed during student lunch in the auditorium. You can also sign up for your walking partner if both students are cleared.
Attention 10th and 11th Graders – Peer Navigator
If you are interested in obtaining community service hours, being a role model and possibly earning some money, please see Casey and Gene at lunch on Monday in F36.
Attention All Students
The end of the year Gladiator Assembly is May 31st and we need you. If you are interested in being a part of the class competitions, see Robin in the main office to sign up. We need 4 students from each grade level.
There will be a mock stats test in H4 today at 3 pm.
Into the Woods
West End Performing Arts’ production of Into the Woods shows tonight at 7 pm with additional showings May 16, 17, & 18 and 2 pm showings on May 12th and 19th. Tickets are $7 for students and $12 for general admission and can be bought at the door or from any cast member.
Prom is tomorrow at the Downtown Athletic Club. Get your prom tickets today at the planters during lunch for $30 with ASB, $35 w/out ASB, or pay $40 at the door.
Grad Party Tickets
Grad Party tickets will be sold at lunch today at the rock.
RTEC is a free college course for seniors planning on attending Lane Community College in the fall. Registration for summer sessions opens May 15th. Pick up a flyer outside the School-to-Career office for more information.
The Women in Science and Engineering Club is sponsoring their 7th Annual WISE Symposium on Thursday, May 30th, after school. It’s free and open to all high school students. Workshops, free food, and cool prizes!

McCornack Elementary – Volunteers are needed to supervise after-school rehearsals and backstage during shows for McCornack Elementary’s production of Newsies the Musical.
