Today: FSU meets at lunch in the auditorium

CHS Students

All students are required to carry their current Student ID with them while on campus. If you do not have a current Student ID, see Kym in the attendance office at lunch, during your free period, or after school.

Starting next week we will be issuing free-period stickers for Trimester 2 that attach to the back of your Student ID. All students with a free period(s) in Trimester 2 should see Colleen at lunch in the student lounge for their sticker(s).

Library

If you haven’t already, please return your textbooks from last trimester or stop by the library and renew them today.

Student Schedules

If you still need to add classes to your Trimester 2 schedule, complete the schedule change request form on the CHS Scheduling page. A list of available courses is posted in the College and Career Center. Today is the last day to submit your request.

Seniors

Senior portraits are due to Don Squires by December 17. See the Graduation page for more information.

Secret Snowflakes

Secret Snowflakes are on sale today during lunch at the planters. Send a sweet message to the person of your choice for only $1.

Twelve Angry Jurors

CHS Thespians’ production of Twelve Angry Jurors is running TONIGHT, tomorrow & December 16, 17, and 18 at 7:00 PM. Twelve complete strangers have been tasked with determining the guilt or innocence of a young man accused of murdering his father. However, the guilty verdict proves to be not nearly as sure as it seems. Join us for the grand return of theatre at Churchill. Tickets are $7 for students at $10 for adults and can be purchased at the door or from any CHS Thespian. Doors open at 6:30 pm with curtains going up at 7:00 pm. See Mr. Patton in H8 for more details.

Holiday Spirit Week

Students and Staff – It’s time to get into the holiday spirit! Join us next week in spreading joy with a Holiday Spirit Week! Monday – Holiday PJ’s, Tuesday – Holiday Head Gear, Wednesday – Wooly Wednesday/Cozy Flannel, Thursday – Blizzard Day/White Out & Friday – Ugly Sweater.

Seniors

If you are applying to a college or university whose application for admission is due in January, you must request any required transcripts and letters of recommendation before Winter break. Staff members go on break too and we don’t want you to miss deadlines. You will find the directions to request transcripts and letters of recommendation on the College & Career Center website. We will begin sending mid-year transcripts to colleges that require them after Winter break.

AP Students

If you plan to take any AP tests, payment is due by December 15th. You can pay Ken Pimental in the front office or use SchoolPay. If you need assistance with making your payment by the due date, please see Sheree Houck or Missy Cole.
