EOS Survey Open until January 4

As you know, Churchill High School is committed to fostering the highest-quality learning experience for its students. As one example of this commitment, our district has partnered with Equal Opportunity Schools (EOS), a national non-profit education organization, to examine and develop the learning culture within our schools and develop strategies to increase student participation in challenging high school coursework. To support these goals, we encouraged all students to participate in a survey that occurred on December 16, during Advisory. Survey questions will address students’ views on their coursework, their school experience, and the ways in which our school supports their educational goals. Results will only be used to identify students who are prepared for more challenging coursework, to identify areas that students may be struggling academically, and to build upon academic supports for students now and in the years to come.

While many students did successfully complete the survey, we recognize that not all students were able to complete the survey during the one opportunity provided. With a two-week break coming up, we would like to extend the opportunity for students to complete this survey during the holidays. We are providing the link to the survey, as well as links to videos that offer more information about the survey and its intent.

Students have until January 4, 2021, to complete the survey.

We appreciate your efforts to support your student and we wish you a safe and restful break.
